License Agreement

All materials are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License International (CC-BY).

By submitting materials for publication in the Publisher’s journals, the Author acknowledges acceptance of the terms of this Agreement.

1. Parties to the Agreement

2. Subject of the Agreement

2.1 The Author hereby grants the Publisher non-exclusive economic copyright to the manuscript (scientific article) provisionally titled:

(hereinafter referred to as the Work).

2.2 The transfer of rights is for the purpose of publishing the Work in the Publisher’s scientific journal in print and/or electronic form.

3. Rights Transferred to the Publisher

3.1 The Author grants the Publisher the right to:

  • reproduce the Work in any manner and format;

  • publicly distribute it in print;

  • publish it on the journal’s website and other electronic platforms;

  • include the Work in electronic libraries, repositories, and bibliometric databases;

  • translate the Work into English or other languages as necessary;

  • publicly display and communicate the Work;

  • create electronic copies and archival versions.

3.2 Rights are granted under a non-exclusive license, allowing the Author to retain rights for further use of the Work as described in Section 7.

4. Term and Territory of the License

4.1 The rights are granted to the Publisher for the period necessary to ensure permanent access to the Work via the journal’s archives.

4.2 The license applies worldwide.

5. Author’s Warranties

The Author confirms that:

5.1 The Work is original and does not infringe the copyright or other rights of third parties.
5.2 The Work is not under consideration by other publications and has not been previously published (unless otherwise agreed in writing).
5.3 All individuals entitled to authorship are properly credited.
5.4 All information presented in the Work was obtained honestly and does not contain fabricated or falsified data.
5.5 The Author is responsible for resolving any third-party claims related to the Work.

6. Publisher’s Rights and Obligations

6.1 The Publisher shall perform proper editorial processing, peer review, and publication of the Work.

6.2 The Publisher may:

  • make technical and stylistic edits without altering the scientific content;

  • distribute the Work in any form under the license;

  • submit information about the Work to bibliometric databases.

6.3 The Publisher shall maintain the Work in open access (if required by journal policy).

7. Author’s Rights After License Transfer

The Author retains the right to:

  • use the Work for educational, scientific, and personal purposes;

  • post preprints or postprints in repositories;

  • create derivative works based on their own Work;

  • include the Work in dissertations, monographs, or reports;

  • use the material under the terms of the Creative Commons license specified by the journal.

8. Compensation

8.1 The transfer of rights is free of charge unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.

8.2 Any applicable article processing charges (APC) are governed by the journal’s policy and are not linked to the transfer of copyright.

9. Policy Regarding Aggressor States and Individuals Supporting Aggression

9.1 The Author confirms that they are not a citizen or permanent resident of an aggressor state against Ukraine, including the Russian Federation or other states recognized as aggressor countries under Ukrainian law, and have no formal or informal employment, scientific, financial, or reputational relationships with institutions, organizations, or entities of such states.

9.2 The Author guarantees that the submitted material was not created in cooperation with authors, institutions, or funds that support, justify, or disseminate narratives legitimizing military aggression against Ukraine; have ties with state or non-state organizations of aggressor countries; or are under sanctions by Ukraine or international bodies.

9.3 The Publisher reserves the right to refuse publication, terminate the Agreement, or retract previously published material if it is later discovered that the Author concealed information regarding cooperation with an aggressor country, violated sanction restrictions, or made public statements or actions supporting aggression against Ukraine.

9.4 The Author confirms that the article does not contain citations promoting or popularizing research conducted by authors or institutions from aggressor states, except when strictly necessary for scientific analysis or critical evaluation. In such cases, the Author must clearly indicate the context of such citations.

9.5 In case of violation of this section, the Publisher bears no responsibility for refusal to publish or unilateral termination of the Agreement, and the Author has no right to claim compensation.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Disputes under this Agreement shall be resolved through negotiation.

10.2 If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be settled in court according to the applicable laws of Ukraine.

11. Final Provisions

11.1 The Agreement becomes effective upon signature by the Author and Publisher (or upon electronic confirmation in the manuscript submission system).

11.2 The Agreement may be concluded electronically, including by attaching a signed copy or via electronic consent.

11.3 The Agreement is executed in two copies or as a single electronic document.
